The members of The Third Voice have led singing workshops for many years— in schools, at festivals, and across the wider community. Under the name Blindman’s Holiday they participated in Musica Viva tours, bringing music to metropolitan, regional and remote communities around Australia and overseas. As The Third Voice we continue that work, running workshops in diverse settings: community colleges, folk festivals, pubs and street jams. Group singing not only brings joy and social connection but also delivers proven physical and mental health benefits.
Clarita, Christina and Gemma lead a wide range of workshops. Below are a few examples to help your choir or festival get started. If you have a workshop idea, we’d love to hear it—get in touch.
The Magic of Three - The Third Voice presents a lively, welcoming singing workshop for singers of all levels to celebrate the joy of harmonizing in three parts. Join us to sing carefully chosen songs that will uplift your spirit, spark inspiration, and move you both emotionally and physically.
The Magic of Three
Come and learn the distinctive songs, chants, and rhythms of the Afro-Cuban tradition, a vibrant melting pot of Indigenous, African, and European influences. Clarita’s deep love of Cuban music and her opportunities to travel and collaborate with local musicians have allowed her to bring these rich, rarely heard songs to Australia. A joyful, inclusive workshop welcoming participants of all ages and abilities.
